Orris J. Presley, 72 of Clare, died Saturday, May 27, 1989, at the Midland
Hospital.

Services are scheduled for 11am Wednesday at the Clare United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Eugene Lewis will officiate. Burial will take place at Cherry Grove
Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home in Clare from 10am to 9pm
today, and from 10am until time of services Wednesday.

Memorial contributions may e made to the Clare United Methodist Church or the
American Cancer Society.

Mr. Presley was born July 21st, 1916, in Wise Township in Isabella County. He
was the son of John W. and Ina (Penrose) Presley. He Married Marian Noyes
November 22, 1940. She Preceded him in death August 17, 1982. He Married Evelyn
O’Dell July 27, 1974 in Hillman. She survives.

He was a custodian for the Clare school system and a farmer. He retired in 1982.
He was a member of the Clare United Methodist Church.

In addition to his wife, Evelyn, Mr. Presley is survived by a son, Larry of
Clare; three daughters, Judy Wright of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Leonard (Lois) McJames
of Sanford and Mrs. Jack (Jackqueline) Robert of Clare; 12 grandchildren; one
great-grand child; two step-daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Evelyn) Blair of Rogers
City; Mrs. Freddie (Waunetta) Seymour of Iron River; a stepson, John Cherrette
of Mt. Clemens; Four  Step-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Thomas (Donna)
Bradley of Clare,  Mrs. Russell (Maxine) Schlafly of Midland and Mrs. Gerald
(Betty) Knapp of Alma.

He was Preceded in death by a son.
