Mr. Rodgers had been ill for a few months. He is survived by his wife and two daughterss, Mrs. Alfred Van Vorst and Mrs. M. Morrissey, both of Grand Rapids. Mr. Rodgers was county treasurer in Missaukee county about 16 years ago, and was also coun- ty agent for Clare county and seven years ago was county agent for Miss- aukee county. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at Lake City, the Rev. Dr. A. W. Johnstone of Cadillac will offciate. Additional Comments: Anthony Rogers was born March 12, 1846 in North Esk Parish, Northumberland County, New Brusnwick. He was the son of Anthony and Margaret (Sweet) Rogers. Anthony was raised in Brown Township, Manistee County, Michigan and was associated with the lumber industry for most of his adult life. On January 25, 1872, Anthony married Jane Elizabeth Miller, daughter of Oliver and Jane (Humphrey) Miller.
