Obituaries from the Clare County Review, October 24, 1999

Cynthia Marie Roberts, 64, of Clare, passed away Monday, October 18,
1999 at Mid Michigan Medical Center, Clare.  Marie was born on September
l, 1935 in Beaverton, the daughter of Wilburn and Edith (Green) Burns.
She was united in marriage to Clifford Roberts May 7, 1958 in Corunna,
Michigan.  Cliff preceded her in death June 29, 1988.
    Marie is survived by seven children, Sonny and Sandy Roberts, Jr.,
of Lake, Julia and Charlie Sniff of Farwell, Kenneth and Annette of
Ohio, L.G. and Jerri of Lake, Shilia and Kenny Ferris of Lake, and Jerry
Peek and Jessie Fort of Clare, 22 grand children and nine great-grand
children; two sisters, Lucy and Clint Cooper of Clare and Harriet and
Dave McMullen of Farwell; brothers, Myron Burns and Ira and Tony Paul of
Clare; brother and sister-in-laws Lois Burns, Shirley VanBuskirk, Robert
and Barbara Wright, Eugene and Nola Roberts; and many other relatives
and friends.  She is preceded in death by her husband Cliff, parents,
and two brothers.
    Services for Marie were held Thursday, October 21, at l p.m. from
the Coker Funeral Home of Farwell with Pastor Earl Marsh officiating.
Buirial was in the Wise Township Cemetery.
