Obituaries from the Clare County Cleaver, August 26, 1999

Kirby J. Roll died August 19, 1999 at the age of 62.  He was born in
Pontiac, MI on August 30, 1936, the son of Kirby D. and Grace (Haney)
Roll and has lived the past four years in Harrison coming from St.
Johns.
     Kirby was a member of the Harrison Moose Lodge and a retired Motor
Wheel employee.  He married Nancy LePreze in Lansing on March 24, 1956
and she survives him.
     Also surviving are three daughters, Becky (David) Kebler of Elsie;
Betty (Edward) Kentfield and Bonny (Timothy) Nicholas all of St. Johns;
four sons, Bill (Judy) Roll of St. Johns, Bob (Diana) Roll of Kenton,
OH, Berry (Michelle) Roll of St. Johns, Jay (Kellie) Roll of Newberry,
MI; seventeen grandchildren; one sister Margie (Jim) Bidinger of Royal
Oak.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Steven Lee and
one grandson, Jeremy John. 
     Funeral services were ll:00 am Monday, August 23, 1999 at the
Osgood Funeral Home, burial at Mt. Rest Cemetery with Rev. James Henning
officiating.  Memorials may be made to the Roll family.
