Russell: The family of Charles A. Russell is celebrating his life. Born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan on May 28, 1932 and passed away on June 21, 1999 at the age of 67 after a long illness. Charles resided in Harrison, Michigan from 1958 to 1979 when he and his wife moved to Marana, Arizona. Charles was a lifetime member of the D.A.V. and a member of the American Legion. He recently helped start a new American Legion Post in Marana. No one ever came to Charles for help and was turned away. He shared with anyone he found in need,. Such generosity is rare. Surviving him is wife Marjorie A. Russell, of Marana, Arizona. Also surviving, his sons Wayde Russell of Grayling, Michigan and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Russell Jr. of Leonard, Michigan. Daughters Sheryl Caszatt of Crystal, Michigan and Helen and Leo Gary of Harrison, Michigan. Also surviving are 10 wonderful grandchildren including Andrea and Allisha Gary, Megan and Marlo Russell, Dale Harding and Jesse, Christopher, and Crystal Caszatt.
