Marjorie Ann (Gouine) Rogers was born on October ll, 1934 in Detroit as the daughter of Leonard and Virginia (Padgett) Gouine. She was one of two children, with brother, Leonard Gouine. On March 6, 1954, Marge was wed to Roy C. Rogers in Warrren. Together the raised two sons, Rickey (wife Diane) Rogers of Warren and Mark Rogers of Belleville. Marge moved from Warren to Harrison in 1980 where she became a member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church, Lioness, Eagles Auxillary, and the Women of the Moose, Chapter 1804. She was very active with the clubs and enjoyed traveling with them and crocheting. Mrs. Rogers died on Saturday, May 9, 200l at the age of 66. She leaves behind her children, father and four grandchildren: Barbara, Theresa, Rickey and Kelly Rogers. Preceding her in death are her mother and husband in 1997. There was a memorial service to celebrate her life on Friday, May 25 at 11:00 am at Stocking Funeral Home with Father Noel Rudy presaiding. Inurnment took place at Hillcrest Cemetery in Greenwood Township. Memorial contributions may be made to Mid Michigan Hospice. Arrangements were entrusted to Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison.
