Roth, 62, of 5l5 N. 4th Street, Harrison, passed away on September 15, 1976 at his cottage on St. Martin's Point. He was born on March 24, 1914 in Harrison, the son of David and Rena (Bingham) Roth. Bob was a life resident of the Harrison Area. He was united in marriage to Roberta Miller, on July 2, 1939 in Middleton. She preceded him in death in 1974. Mr. Roth was presently employed by the City of Harrison as City Treasurer. He had recently retired from Sun Oil Company after 30 years of employment. He was a member of the John J. Carton Masonic Lodge of Harrison, a member of the First Congregational Church of Harrison, and a member of the Harrison Community Fire Dept., Harrison Police Auxillary and a past City Councilman. Surviving are two sons, David and Dale Roth of Harrison, one daughter, Cheryl Roth of Maryland two brothers, Marion and David E. (Ernie) Roth, both of Harrison, one sister Mrs. Edna Bruce of Harrison and four grandchildren. Masonic services, under the auspices of the John J. Carton Masonic Lodge of Harrison, were held on Friday evening, 8:00 pm from Coker Funeral Home, Inc. Harrison. Funeral services were held on Sunday, September 19, 1976 , 2:00 pm from the First Congregational Church Harrison, with the Rev. Carl Gillett officiating. Interment was in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Harrison.
