Obituaries from the Clare County Review, October 24, 1999

Virginia Rose Rowland, 73, of Lake, passed away Tuesday, October 19,
1999 at the Covenant Health Care in Saginaw, Michigan.  Virginia was
born April 25, 1926 in Detroit, the daughter of Leonard and Josephine
(Maul) Hardoin.  She was united in marriage to Charles Rowland on April
26, 1947 in Detroit,.
    Virginia is survived by her husband Charles; one daughter, Elizabeth
of Lake, and two brothers, Leonard of Florida and James of Oklahoma.  She
is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ronald.
     Visitation was held on Thursday evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and
Friday morning from l0 a.m. to l p.m. from the Coker Funeral Home with
burial in the Garfield Cemetery.
