Eaton aaeaton@voyager.net Obituary from the Clare County (Michigan) Cleaver, September 20, 2001 Reginald J. House, age 86 of Clare, passed away on Fri. Sept l4 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Saginaw. He was born he son of George and Ruth (Schug) House, on Sept. 10, 1915 near Rosebush. He served his country during WWII with the US Air Force, and was a survivor of the attack on Pearl Harbor. He married Janet Lutz on Nov. 19, 1955 on Long Island, NY. He had worked as a machinist for Holly Carburetor and retired from CMU Physical Plant Services. He also farmed and worked oil fields. "Reggie" was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clare, the VFW Post #5738 in Clare, and was a charter member and trustee of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association. He is survived by his wife, Janet, sons: Thomas of Clare, and David of Dayton, OH; a daughter Linda (Michael) Stebelton of Chelsea, MI; brothers: William, Homer (Janet), and Arnold (Marian); sisters: Marjorie Shull, all of Clare, Eleanor (Ed) Schlafley of Manistee, Florence (Bill) McEachern of Centuria, Wisconsin, and Eileen (Gerald) Wood of Clermont, Fla. Also surviving are three grandchildren: Rachel, John, and Jesse. He was predeceased in death by his parents and a sister Helen. Funeral services held on Mon., Sept. 17, from the First Baptist Church in Clare, with burial in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements were by the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home in Clare.
