Christon Rieger
 
Christon Rieger, a respected German resident, died at his home a half a mile south of the Eagle 
school house, Sheridan township, Tuesday, June 25. He was born in Germany, June 17, 1841, 
so that he was just past his 34th birthday. His sickness was of less than a week's duration. The 
funeral services were conducted at the Eagle school house, Wednesday p.m., by Elder Tatman. 
The remains repose in the Thompson cemetery near his late home.
