Clare County Cleaver - 7 November 1999
James Ervin Sabisch, 92, of Lake, died suddenly on Monday, November l,
1999, due to injuries suffered in an auto accident.  Jim was born on May
28, 1907 in Coleman, Michigan, the son of Paul and Mary (Rose) Sabisch.
He was united in marriage to Florence Farnsworth.

Jim was a member of the Living Hope Lutheran Church of Farwell,
National Rifle association, Lake Eagles and the Harrison Moose Lodge.
He also belonged to the Carpenters Local #998 and retired after 50 years
with the Local.  Jim loved to garden and grew the best vegetables in the
area.  He was always willing to give food to anyone in need and he
enjoyed cooking.  A longtime Christian who became a member of the Living
Hope Lutheran Church on October 10, 1999.

Jim is survived by one son, James Jr. of Pontiac; three daughters:
Marian and Walter Spencer of Spruce, Michigan, Patricia and Raymond
Carskadon of Frankfort, Kentucky, and Delores and Gerald Frick of
Brutus, Michigan.  Also surviving are two brothers, Aca of Evart, and
Charles of Sweet Home, Oregon; ll grandchildren 19 great grandchildren;
and many other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his
parents, four brothers and five sisters, and his wife Florence who died
in 1990.

Visitation for James was held Thursday Evening from the Coker
Funeral Home.  Funeral services were held l0:30 a.m. Friday morning from
the Living Hope Lutheran Church with Pastor John Morris officiating with
burial in the Garfield Township Cemetery.
