His entire life was spent on the home place where he was born. He was a kind neighbor, friend and brother and lived by the Golden Rule. Left to mourn his departure are one sister Elsie at home, one brother Arthur of Beulah, Ray Smith a nephew who has always made his home with him and two nieces, Mrs. Harlow Adams of Beulah and Mrs. Robert Green of Saginaw and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted from the Thurston Funeral Home, Saturday, August 1 at 1:30 with Rev. Arthur Cunningham of Marlette and Rev. Duane McNeil officiating and interment in Cherry Grove cemetery.
