Arthur Saul Buried Here



Arthur Saul passed away Oct. 25, 1961, at the home of his daughter Mrs. Harlow 
Adams of Beulah, Michigan, after a short illness.  Mr. Saul was born in Clare 
county May 30, 1896, son of Edward and Mary Saul.  On April 13, 1921, he was 
united in marriage to Bessie Allen of Clare.  This union was blessed with two 
daughters.



Their early marriage was spent in California where Mr. Saul was employed in 
lumbering.



In April 1926, they returned to Dover Community where he owned and operated his 
farm until August 1956.



His wife preceded him in death in 1952.



He leaves to mourn, two daughters, Mrs. Harlow Adams of Beulah, Michigan, and 
Mrs. Robert Green of Saginaw, five grandchildren, one sister Elsie of Clare.  
Besides the immediate family he leaves several nieces and nephews as well as 
other relatives and friends.



Funeral services were held Saturday from the Thurston Funeral Home in Clare, 
Rev. Arthur Cunningham and Rev. Duane McNeil officiating.  Interment was made 
in Cherry Grove Cemetery.
