Clare County Cleaver - 11 November 1999
Theodore "Ted" Frederick Smith, 66, of  Harrison (Temple) passed away at
his residence Monday, November 1, 1999.  Ted was born January 4, 1933,
in Haslett, Michigan, the son of Theodore F.Sr. and Lois J. (Huck)
Smith.  Mr. Smith had resided in Clare County since 1986, moving from
Texas.

Surviving are three sons, Craig, Bruce and Mike all of West
Jordon, Utah, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a sister, Shiela Hoag
and husband Frank Noon of
Temple a brother, Richard Smith and wife Norma Jean of Redmond,
Washington, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services were held Thursday, November 4, 1999, at ll:00
a.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Elder Dale Beavers
officiating.  Interment was in the Fernwood Cemetery, Temple, Michigan.
Military honors were conducted by Officers and Members of the VFW Post
1075, Harrison, Michigan.
