Obituaries from the Clare County Review, January 12, 200l

Jeffery J. Schafer, age 50, of Bertha Lake, died suddenly on Friday,
January 5, 200l in Muskegon.  He was born the son of Edward J. and Ruth
(Warren) Schafer on March l7, 1950 in Clare.  He was employed as a
boilermaker with Local 169 of Detroit.
      Jeff is survived by his children, LeAnn Schafer of Lansing, Teresa
Shafer of Grand Ledge, and Patrick Schafer of Harrison,  three
grandchildren, Eric, Taylor, and Shayna; and a sister Mrs. Teresa
(Eusebio) Pilar of Lansing.
      Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, January 10, 200l at ll:00
am from the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home in Clare, where friends called
on Tuesday January 9, from 2-5 pm and 5-7 pm.
