The submitter has given permission to the MIGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. _____________________________________________________________________ Obituary: Gladwin Record - April 1926 Robert Sersaw Robert Sersaw was born in Ontario, Canada in 1852, and passed to the great beyond at Ann Arbor hospital, after undergoing an operation for cancer of the stomach. March 30, at 10:30 p.m., aged 74. He was married to Miss Marth Jane Sturch, and to this union 13 children were born of whom 6 sons and two daughters survive him with his wife, four sons preceded him in death. He also leaves two brothers, Mr. and Mrs. Sersaw have been residents of Clare county the past 45 years, during which time they have experienced much of the hardship of early pioneer life. Mr. Sersaw was a hard working man and a good and very kind neighbor, respected by all who knew him, and will be greatly missed. Funeral service were held on East Sunday at the Allen School House. Elder George W. Bailey officiated and interment took place in Highland cemetery, Gladwin.
