Obituary from Clare County Cleaver, Harrison, MI -- January 25, 200l

Helen C. Scott, age 61, of Farwell, passed away Friday, Jan. 19 at
Northwoods Nursing Center.  She was born the daughter of Clifford and
Mary (Yeager) Shoen, on March ll, 1919, in Lake Odessa, Michigan.  She
married Daniel Scott on April 29, 1946 in Mt. Pleasant, and he preceded
her in death on Feb. l, 1990.  She was a member of the Loyal Order of
the Moose and Eagles.  She loved bowling and golf.
      Helen is survived by her children: Richard and Shirley Todd of
Sylvania, OH, Robert and Claudette Todd of Florida, Daniel "Michael" and
Theresa Scott of Rossford, OH, Marilyn and David Westbrook of Jackson,
MI; a brother Donald Shoen of Lyons, MI; a sister Mrs. Leonard (Mary)
Orvis of Clare; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.  She was
predeceased by her siblings; Gladys, Dorie Siel, Hazel Huntley, Flord
Shoen, and Clifford Shoen.
      Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 23,   at ll:00 am
from the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home in Clare, with Fr. Joseph Ryan
offiating.  Burial was in the St. Henry's Cemetery in Rosebush.
