The submitter has given permission to the MIGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. _____________________________________________________________________ Obitaries from the Clare County Cleaver, Aug. 5, 1999 Bertha Stewart, 80, of Harrison, passed away suddenly, Saturday, July 31, 1999, at Mid-Michigan Regional Medical Center, Clare, Michigan. Bertha was born September l, l9l8 in Hyden, Kentucky, the daugher of Jesse and Dallie (Baker) Sizemore. Bertha Sizemore was united in marriage to Herbert Ray Stewart in January, 1943, in Waseon, Ohio. Mrs. Stewart had resided in rural Harrison since 1974 moving from Dearborn. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Dearborn Chapter. She then transferred to Chapter 408 in Harrison. Surviving are her husband Ray of Harrison, two daughters, Sue Stewart of Harrison and Cathy Stewart of Taylor, a son, Ernest Stewart and wife Georgia of Taylor; a sister, Eva Cipponeri, and husband Nick of Farmington Hills; a brother Rollie Sizemore of Kentucky, plus other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Monday, August 2, 1999, at l:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Elder Dale Beavers officiating. Interment was in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Harrison, Michigan.
