Obituaries from the Clare County Cleaver, Thursday June 10,1999

Samuel Dale Sharp, age 40, passed away as result of an accident in
Kilgore, Texas on May 16, 1999.
   Sam was born on February 26, 1959 in Clare, MI to Dale (Col) and
Norma Sharp.  He resided in Harrison, MI untill 1979 when he enlisted in
the United States Navy.  Retired in February 1999 from the Navy.
    Sam made his home in Poway, CA for the last 16 years where he
married and had a daughter.
    He is survived  by his wife Yvette. daughter Danielle and two
step-children Kimberlyn and Nicolas of Poway, CA.  Also surviving are
his mother Norma Sharp, sisters Kay Yats and Ann Adams all of Harrison,
MI., his brother Joel Sharp of SanDiego, CA and sister Lisa
VanCoppenolle of Adrian, MI, one grandparent Lena Hoard of Gladwin, MI.
plus several nieces and nephews and many, many dear friends.
    Sam was prececesed by his father the late Col. Sharp of Harrison,
MI.
    Funeral services were held at St. Gabrielle Church in Poway, CA on
May 20, 1999.  A memorial service for friends and family here in
Harrison is being planned for November 1999.
