Theobald, age 81 of Harrison, formerly of Pontiac, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 1999 Gratiot Community Hospital, of Alma. Mr. Theobald was born December 8, 1917 in Waterford, to George E. and Mary (Grappin) Theobald. Leroy was united in marriage to Anna M. Wilcoxson on February 13, 1937 in Pontiac. Mr. Theobald was a member of the Harrison Eagles Aerie #354l Surviving LeRoy are his beloved wife, Anna of Harrison, three daughters: Caroll Ann Bentley of Beaverton, Diane Scott and husband Dennis of Imlay City, and Karen Myers and husband Jim of Clare, two sisters; Arvilla Nichols of Chase, and Margaret Hardenberg of Pontiac; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, plus several nieces and nephews. Mr. Theobald was predeceased by his parents, three sons Gerald Theobald, Darell Theobald and Richard Theobald and his grandson, Rodney Allen Ribble. Servics for LeRoy Theobald were held Saturday, July 24, 1999, at 3:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Elder Vernon Lewandowski officiating. Memorial contributions may be considered to the American Kidney Fund, Make a Wish Foundation, or the Harrison Sports Boosters. Arrangements were entrusted with Stocking Funeral Home of Harrison.
