Obituaries taken from the Clare County Review, June 13, 1999:

Helen M. Tice, 80 of Clare, passed away Sunday, June 6, 1999 at the
Tendercare Nursing Home of Clare.  Helen was born the daughter of
Benjamin C. and Melissa M. (Jordan) Larrance on June 12, 1918 in Gilmore
Twp., Isabella County,  She married Elry C. Tice on March 1, 1941 at
Brown Corners Church.  Helen had owned and operated her own flower shop
in Clare.  She was a lifelong resident in the Clare area.  She was a
member of the Clare Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed gardening, crafts
and oil painting. 
     Helen is survived by her husband, Elry, a daughter, Shirley M.
(Robert) Neeland of Rosebush, three grandsons, Randall (Susan) of
Alanson, Edwin (Julie) and Ronald (Sandra) both of Rosebush, four
great-grandchildren, Rebecca, Ryan, Jordan and Logan.  Helen was
predeceased by a sister, Mary Foot, and six brothers: Ora, Ben, Joe,
Dan, John and Elvin.
     Services will take place on  Wednesday, June 9, at the Clare Church
of the Nazarene with Pastor Jim Young officiating.  Burial will be in
Surrey Twp. Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Clare Church of the
Nazarene or the Hospice of Clare County.
