Obituary from the Clare County Review, October 31, 1999

Shirley Anna Thieme,  of Farwell, passed away October 22, 1999.  Shirley
was born June 16, 1930 in East Detroit, Michigan.  On October 8, 1949
she married Henry Robert Thieme, who predeceased her on October 26, 1998.
     Mrs. Thieme was a founding member of Faith Baptist Church in
Warren, Michigan, where she was a church organist and Sunday School
teacher.  She worked as an office administrator for Century 21 Real
Estate.  In 1990 she retired and moved to Farwell.  Shirley was a member
of Trinity Baptist Church in Farwell where she was a church organist.
     Loving wife of the late Henry Robert, dear mother of Dale (Lois);
Lynn (William) Czarniawski; Joan (Brian)) Ferrier and Paul (Sherri)
Thieme; grandmother of Matthew Donna, Brian, Angela, Alicia and
Alexander; dear daughter of Rudolph and the late Hildreth Zschering;
loving sister of Carol (George) Katzmarek and step-sister to Audrey
Gowran.
    Funeral Services were held Frioday from Faith Baptist Church in
Warren.  Interment was in Cadillac Memorial Gardens East.
