Clare County Cleaver, Harrison, Mich.

Joyce J. Tomovcsik, age 55, of Harrison, passed away Tuesday July 21,
1998 in Clare.  Joyce was born the daughter of Nathan and Dora (Frayley)
DeFoy on September 23, 1942 in Clare.  She married Joseph Tomovcsik on
June 24, 1963 in Six Lakes, and he predeceased her on July 10, 1976. 
Joyce has been a resident of the Clare County area for most of her
life.  Surviving Joyce is her daughter Barbara (Laurance Sr.) Flemming
of Harrison, 3 brothers Raymond (Pam) DeFoy of Weidman, Nathan Jr.
(Rosa) DeFoy of California, and Ron (Edith) DeFoy of Lansing, 2 sisters,
Brenda (John) Mancier of Clare and Jena (Andrew) Winter of Clare, 12
grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  Joyce was predeceased by her
parents, 2 sisters Georgie Mary, and Perretta, and her special friend
George Lynn.  Visitation for Joyce will be held on Friday, July 24, 1998
from 7-9 p,m,.  Cremation to take place following, and a memorial
service with burial of the cremains is being planned for a later date.
