Obituary from the Clare County Cleaver, Harrison, Mi. 3-29-200l

Virginia J. Hoskey, 67, of Harrison, went home to be with the Lord on
March 23, 200l. Mrs. Hoskey was born on March l, 1934 in Essex,
Missouri, the daughter of Lee and Laney (Chandler) O'Neal. Surviving
are her husband, William of Harrison, two sons: Fred and wife Pamela
Hoskey of Harrison and Carl and wife Pamela Hoskey of Clio; one
daughter, Barbara and husband, Gregory Helms of Lewisburg, Tennessee;
two sisters, Ruth Ragle of South Bend, Indiana, and Thelma Parrott of
Flint; two brothers, Earl and wife Ann O'Neal of Flint and George and
wife Claudia O'Neal of Oscoda, MI; one sister-in-law Geraldine O'Neal of
Flint; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, which she
enjoyed very much; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in
death are: her parents; one son Curtis L. Hoskey in 1971; one
granddaughter, Jessica Hoskey; and three sisters; and three brothers.
Visitations were held on Sunday, March 25, 2001 from 6 to 9 pm and
Monday, March 26, 200l, from l0 am to 9 pm. Funeral services were held
on Tuesday, March 27, 200l at ll:00 am from Stocking Funeral Home.
Interment was at Hamilton Township Cemetery in Harrison, Michigan.
Arrangements were entrusted with Stocking Funeral Home, Inc. of
Harrison, Michigan.
