Obituary from the Clare County Review, March 30, 2001

Vesta Lee Osborn, age 55, of Farwell, died on March 23 200l at the Mt.
Pleasant Hospital. Vesta was born on April 14, 1945 in Marion, the
daughter of Ralph and Vesta (Salters) Purvis. Vesta was united in
marriage to Laurel Osborn on October 2, 1965.

Vesta is survived by her mother-in-law Pearl Osborn of Farwell;
children: Dareld, Carl, Gerry & Jennifer, Mickie & Brian Webb, Connie &
Craig Gurnee all of Farwell, Gary & Shelly, Randy & Melenie of Rosebush,
Tim & Donna of Euless, Texas, Tracy & Damian Conrad of Mt. Pleasant,
LaDeanna & Tim Outling of Comstock, and LeNora & Phil Eldred of
Galesburg; thirty grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and many
other friends. Her husband Laurel, parents, and one son George,
preceded her in death.

The Coker Funeral Home handled arrangements for the funeral with
burial in the Surrey twp. Cemetery. Memorials may be given in Vesta's
name to the American Lung Association.
