WITFOTH - Mrs. Mabel A. Wit-
foth, aged 86, of 1311 Calgary
NE, passed away Thursday
morning at the home of her
duaghter, Mrs. Ronald (Jen-
nie) Row, 48 Holland NE.
Surviving besides Mrs. Rowe
are another daughter, Mrs. 
Aaron (Ruby) Musser: a son
Charles A. Rogers, all of
Grand Rapids, eight grand-
children,; 12 great-grandchil-
dren; a sister, Mrs. O. V. 
(Ruby) Kendall of  Osceola,
Ind., and sevearl nieces and
nephews.  Mrs. Witfoth
reposes at the VanStrien-Al-
man Funeral Home, 1833
Plainfield NE, where services
will be held Saturday, 1:30
p.m.  Interment Oakhill Ceme-
tery.  The family will be at the 
funeral home Friday 2 to 4 and
7 to 9.  In lieu of flowers me-
morials may be made to the 
American Cancer Society.

Additional Comments:
Mabel Anna Yarnell was the oldest child of Joseph Barton and Laura Elizabeth 
(Scoville) Yarnell.  She was born at Milton Junction, Osceola County, Michigan 
July 11, 1883.  On October 5, 1904 she married Charles Anthony Rogers, the son 
of Anthony and Jane Elizabeth (Miller) Rogers.  Charley and Mabel had three 
children:

Jennie Maurine (1907-1981) born in Lake City, Missaukee County, Michgan
Charles Anthony (1909-1998) born in Lake City, Missaukee County, Michigan 
Ruby Adelaide (1911-2000) born in Fernie, British Columbia, Canada

Charley Rogers, Mabel's husband, died in August of 1913, of "Bright's 
Disease," in Cranbrook, British Columbia, Canada.  On November 12, 1934, Mabel 
married Frank L. Witforth.  Mabel and Frank Witfoth had no children.
