Obituaries from Clare County Cleaver, Harrison, MI, 7-20-2000

Walter John Wilson, was born on February 7, 1936 as the son of Edna Fura
in Detroit.  He was one of two children, with sister Mary (Andrew)
Ferrence.  He married Judith Ann Lycans on September 7, 1957 in
Detroit.  Together they had four children: Walter Wilson of Columbia,
TN, Ruth Howell of Harrison, Sandy Wilson of Redford and Brenda Wilson.
    Mr. Wilson retired from the Willow Run General Motors Plant in 1993,
then moving to Harrison.  He enjoyed fishing, bingo, spending time with
his family and listening to the oldies on Station 96.1.
      Walter Wilson died on July 10, 2000 at the age of 64 in Clare.  He
is survived by his son, Walter (Amelia); daughters: Ruth and Sandy;
sister: Mary; grandchildren: Walter Wilson, Jr., Cindy (Joe) Tarjeft,
Tina (Dale) Hebel, Robert Wilson, Michael Kowalski, Christina Kowalski
and Suzanne Wilson; nieces: Sue, Eva; nephews: Andy, Tommy and Pete;
mother-in-law Louise Rarog; and brother-in-law: Ray Rarog.  Preceding
Walter in death is his wife, mother and daughter Brenda.
      Visitation for Mr. Wilson was Wednesday, July 12, 2000 at l-8 p.m.
with a funeral service on Thursday at l0 a.m. at Stocking Funeral Home.
Arrangements were entrusted to Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison,
Michigan.
