Obituary, Clare County Cleaver, Harrison, Mi., May 27,1999

Ruth V. Weyand, age 79, of Clare, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 1999 in
Farwell.  Ruth was born the daughter of Howard and Edna (Goble) Fox on
September 8, 1919 in Clarksburg, West Virginia.  She married Robert G.
Weyand on November 27, 1954 in Angola, Indiana and he predeceased her on
October 27, 1998.  Ruth had worked as a Dental Assistant, and had lived
in the Clare area since coming from Ohio in 1970.  She had attended the
Clare United Methodist Church, and had been active in the Rebecca's
Lodge and also as a Hospital Volunteer.
Surviving Ruth are two sons Frank Gaston of Vallejo, Ca, and David
Gaston of Phoenix, Ar; 3 daughters Roberta (Robert) Dunn of Kokomo, In.,
Regina (James) Schlafley of Clare, and Shirley Grant of Mead, OK., a
sister Louise Dean of Clarksburg, W.Va; 5 grandchildren Mike, Michelle,
J.J.,Tricia and Angela.  Ruth was predeceased by brother Howard and
Charlie and a sister Pauline.
Funeral Services for Ruth took place on Friday, May 21 at 11:00 A.M. at
the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home with Rev. Gregory Wolfe officiating. 
Burial will be in the Gilmore Township Cemetery.  Memorials may be made
to the Hospice of Clare County.  Arrangements by the Stephenson-Wyman
Funeral Home, Inc.
