Obituaries from the Clare County Cleaver, Harrison, MI, May 7, 1999.


Gerald "Jerry" G. Wentworth, age 37 of Clare, passed away Wednesday,
Sept. 29, 1999.  Jerry was born the son of Albert P. and Mary (Murphy)
Wentworth on January 20, 1962 in Mt. Pleaant.  Jerry was a life long
resident of the Clare area, he was a local farmer.  He had belonged to
4-H, FFA, the Farm Bureau and the Big Brother/Big Sister program.  He
also attended St. Cecilia Catholic Church.
    Jerry is survived by his parents, Albert and Mary; 5 brothers;
Anthony of Farmington Hills, Robert of Durham, N.C., Paul (Carla) of
Clare, Bruce (Susan) of Clare and Gordon (Michele) of Sanford; 3 sisters
Victoria (Loren) DeVinney of Canton, Elaine Wentworth of Clare and
Melissa Wentworth of Manistee.
    Funeral Services took place Monday, October 4, at ll:00 am at St.
Cecilia Catholic Church with Father Joseph Ryan officiating.  Burial was
in the St. Cecilia Catholic Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Big
Brothers/Big Sisters organization.  Arrangements by the Stephenson-Wyman
Funeral Home, Inc. of Clare.
