Obituaries from the Clare County Review, January 16, 200l

William Harrison Zimmerman, 8l of Bertha Lake, died Saturday evening,
January 20, 100l, at St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw from injuries
suffered in an auto-pedestrian accident.
      Bill was born on June 14 1919 in Detroit, the son of William and
May (Hunt) Zimmerman.  He was united in marriage to Dorothy Clark in
1947 in Detroit.
      Bill and his wife were owners of  the Bertha Lake Store.  Bill was
a membefr of he Sparta-Esterline Post #3039 of the V.F.W. of Farwell.
He also belonged to the National Rifle Association.
      Bill is survived by his children:  Kenneth and Catherine of
Sterling Heights, Susan and Silvano Chiuchiarelli of Waterford, Eva
Fogleman of Milford, Denise and Thomas Nichols of Biloxi, Mississippi,
Kirk of Marion, and Robert and Shelby of Redford, 12 grandchildren,
three great grandchildren, one sister Rose Marie Baetens of St Clair
Shores and many oher relatives and friends.  His wife, parents and two
sisters precede Bill in death.  A veterans memorial service was held
on Wednesday January 24, 200l at l:00 pm from the Coker Funeral Home of
Farwell.
