Cause:  Accident - 1 or 4 young men when the truck he was driving was burned - brought to funeral home Friday forenoon (4/2/48)
on US-131 a mile north of Plainwell following a collision with another car
Funeral:  Houghton Funeral Home, Monday, April 5, 1 pm - Rev William Blanding 
of North Lansing officiating.
Burial:  Maple Grove Cemetery
Born:  January 3, 1928
School:  Graduated - Ovid High School 1947; starred in football
Attended United Church
Survivors: Parents; 1 brother - Wayne; 2 sisters - Reba Lou, Ardis Ann; 
Grandparents - Mr. and Mrs. George Ackles (near Ovid) and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur 
Knapp of Ithaca
