Clinton County Republican September 15, 1921
SANFORD AVERY DIED  ON WEDNESDAY WAS A LIFE-LONG RESIDE AND VERY WELL KNOWN IN 
CLINTON COUNTY 
The death of Sanford Avery, a very well known and life-long resident of 
Clinton county, occurred Wednesday night at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. 
Joseph Cramer of St. Johns. He was 78 years of age. The funeral will be held 
at the Cramer residence Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment at Mt. Rest 
cemetery. The many friends of Mr. Avery will be surprised to learn of his 
sudden death and will miss him greatly.  A complete obituary will be published 
next week.
