JOHNS WOMAN, AGED 88, TAKEN BY DEATH JULY 12TH. Mrs. Malinda Micle Curtis, 88, died early Wednesday morning, July 12, at her home at 107 W. Gibbs Street. On Tuesday she was well as usual and on Wednesday her son Earl, with whom she lived, went to her room to see her before he went to his work, and found her asleep. He left the breakfast prepared for her and departed, returning at noon to find she had been dead for several hours. She was the widow of Harvey Curtis, who died July 14, 1914. She is survived by two sons, Earl, with whom she lived since the death of his wife about two years ago, and Dale Curtis, and by several grandchildren. Burial will be at Fulton Center in the family plot. Mrs. Curtis was a faithful member of the Rebekah Lodge and of the W.R.C., both groups attending the funeral. Additional Comments: Malinda Micle Curtis was the daughter of Benjamin W. Micle and Mary C. Haggett and was born in Potsdam, St. Lawrence County, New York, May 5, 1847.
