McCrumb, 93, of Eagle, died September 3, 1982 at an Eaton County nursing home. Mr. McCrumb was born June 11, 1889 in Eagle, where he lived his entire life. He was a retired farmer and carpenter and was a former member of the Clinton County Farm Bureau. He is survived by his wife, Edna, with whom he would have celebrated 75 years of marriage at the end of September. Also surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Geneva and Herman Openlander of Wacousta; three sons and daughters-in-law, Victor and Leona McCrumb of Eagle, Lawrence and Doris McCrumb of Wacousta and Ronald and Virginia McCrumb of Eagle; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; one half- sister, Mrs Mariam Fry of Lansing; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. McCrumb were held Sunday afternoon, September 5, at the Peters & Murray funeral Home of Grand Ledge with the Rev. John R. Smith of the Wacousta Community United Methodist Church and the Rev. Raymond Dewey of the Eagle Four Square Gospel church officiating. Interment was held in Niles Cemetery in Clinton County.
