Lansing State Journal, Jan., 17, 1918
LAINGSBURG, Jan. 17 - The body of Mrs. Julia Piper was brought here from 
Lansing Monday evening and interment made in Laingsburg cemetery Tuesday 
morning.  She was the mother of Charles Piper of this place and was formerly a 
resident of this place for many years, before going to Lansing to reside a few 
years ago.
