These electronic pages may NOT be reproduced in any format for profit or presentation by other organizations. _____________________________________________________________________________ FRANK SILVERS DIES TUESDAY AFTER FEW DAYS' ILLNESS Frank SILVERS, a St. Johns barber for the past 25 years, died Tuesday evening at the home of his sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan MCKEEBY on Clinton Ave., after a few days' illness of pneumonia. Frank SILVERS, son of Mrs. Sarah SILVERS, was born in Greenbush 52 years ago. He attended the school for the mute in Flint for seven years and on returning to St. Johns, learned the barber trade. Twenty-four years ago he was united in marriage to Lydia MOWAT of St. Johns. Three children were born, two of whom died in childhood. Mrs. SILVERS passed away nine years ago. He leaves to mourn their loss his mother, one son Otto, and four sisters, Mrs. Anna PRATT of Ionia, Mrs. Nettie GRISWOLD of Midland, Mrs. Emma RICE of Greenbush and two brothers, Manning J. of Greenbush and Wm. T. of St. Johns. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the home of his brother, Wm. T. SILVERS on McConnell St., and interment will be made in Mt. Rest cemetery. About three months ago his brother, Bert SILVERS passed away and also his sister, Mrs. Earl POST. The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of all.
