Charles B. Tallmadge Passed Away After Few Week's Illness. Charles Bingley Tallmadge, eldest son of the late Samuel and Mary A. Tallmadge, died Thursday morning, January 18, at the home of his sister, Mrs. J.D. Henderson, after an illness of four weeks of a complication of diseases. Mr. Tallmadge's death ocurred just eight weeks after the death of his father. Mr. Tallmadge was born in Highland, Oakland County, Michigan, April 13 1848. He came to St. Johns with his parents when quite young but again removed to Oakland County, and returned sixteen years ago to make his home with his sister and where he has since resided. He was of a kind disposition and always ready to do all that he could for his friends. Mr. Tallmadge is survived by his sister, Mrs. J.D. Henderson and brother, George A. Tallmadge, of this city; two brothers, Edgar E. and Samuel Tallmadge, of Lansing; one sister, Mrs. Jane French, of Clarksville, Michigan and a number of nephews and nieces. The funeral services were held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Henderson, 111 North Morton Street, Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. James B. Pinckard officiating. Interment in St. Johns Cemetery. Among the relatives present from out of town were; Mrs. Jane French, of Clarksville. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Tallmadge and Samuel Tallmadge, of Lansing; Mr. and Mrs. John E. Henderson and daughter, Ruth, and Mrs. D. L Johnson, of Detroit.
