DENBY SR. 1928 - 1978 Note: Wayne Frederick Denby was the son of John Albert and Hazel (Howe) Denby- Sheader. He was born December 9, 1928 in Lansing, Ingham Co., MI and passed away February 20, 1978 at Lansing General Hospital, Lansing, Ingham Co., MI. His siblings were Lucille Emily (Denby) Clutter, Donald Albert Denby, Laura Hazel (Denby) Day, Irene Ada (Denby) Allen-Anderson, Douglas James Denby, John Richard Denby and Kenneth Edward Denby. He married Edna Annette Ridenour on October 3, 1953 Lansing, Ingham Co., MI. They were the parents of two children, Wayne Frederick Denby, Jr. and Patricia Louise (Denby) Rivera- Keesler. His occupation was the finishing Department at Wyeth Lab in Mason, MI. Obituary - Lansing State Journal - date unknown DENBY, WAYNE F. 4450 E. Norwood Ave. Holt Mr. Denby, age 49, died at a local hospital Feb. 20, 1978. He had been a resident of Holt for 20 years coming from Mason. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church at Holt. Surviving are: wife Edna; 1 son Wayne F. Denby, Jr. of Fowlerville; 1 daughter Miss Patricial L. Denby of Holt; 1 granddaughter Angela; mother Mrs. Hazel Sheader of Eaton Rapids; 3 sisters, Lucille Clutter of Eaton Rapids, Laura Day of Holt and Irene Anderson of Mason; 2 brothers, John Denby of Chicago and Kenneth Denby of Leslie and several nieces and nephews. Religious services will be conducted at 1 p.m. thursday at the First Presbyterian Church in Holt with Rev. David M. Milbourn officiating, with interment in Mt. Rest Cemetery in St. Johns, MI. Mr. Denby will be at the Estes-Leadley Holt Chapel, until 11 a.m. Thursday, then taken to the Church to lie in state from noon until service time.
