Roger Richard Nickols
(August 25, 1942 - October 18, 2010)

Roger, 68 of Laingsburg, passed away Monday, at his home.
Funeral services were held Friday, October 22, 2010 at Emanuel-First Ev. Lutheran Church, Lansing, 
with Pastor Randall Johnson of Our Savior Lutheran Church of Perry officiating.

Roger was born on August 25, 1942 in Lansing, the son of Richard and Ellen (Derke) Nickols. 
He was a 1960 graduate of Laingsburg High School and attended GMI Tech for 2 years. 
On July 14, 1961 he married Linda Swarthout in Lansing and she predeceased him in 2008. 
Roger worked for GM for 7 years, then worked for MacDonald/Douglas in computer software and 
owned his own medical billing company SysDaComp.

He is survived by three children David (Marcie) Nickols, Michael Nickols and Lori Richard, 
grandchildren, Nicole(Kenny) Goad, Andy and Dan Richard, Brother Larry (Anne) Nickols 
and sister Nancy Nickols. He was predeceased by sister Edna Connelly.
