Dimond in section 15 of Windsor Tw'p., Eaton Co. MI. (Liber 38, Page 114) Source is Eaton Co. MI Deed Index, 1853-1873, LDS Film #0965711, Vols. 2&3. Copy of indenture shows that he paid $1269.37 for 101.55 acres. Copies of both are held by Benjamin Kinsey. On 2/11/1874, Ephraim sells some land to Joseph Yeck, his brother. (Liber 59, Page 51) Source is Eaton Co. MI Deed Index, 1873-1888, LDS Film #0965712, Vols. 4&5. Copy of indenture shows that Joseph paid $1500 for 101.55 acres in section 15, Windsor Tw'p., Eaton Co., MI. Copies of both are held by Benjamin Kinsey. In 1874, Ephraim sold his farm in section 15, Windsor Township, Eaton Co. MI to his brother, Joseph Yeck. Charlotte Republican Newspaper, 2/20/1874). Copy held by Benjamin Kinsey. On 8/25/1874, Ephraim buys some land from Joseph Yeck. (Liber 61, Page 6) Source is Eaton Co. MI Deed Index, 1873- 1888, LDS Film #0965712, Vols. 4&5. On this date Ephraim receives a quit claim deed from his brother for 101.55 acres in section 15, Windsor Tw'p., Eaton Co., MI for $1500.00. Copies are held by Benjamin Kinsey. In 1883, Ephraim acquires land from Walter Crane et al. (Liber 85, Page 8) Source is Eaton Co. MI Deed Index, 1873- 1888, LDS Film #0965712, Vols. 4&5. Copy of indenture shows that Ephraim received a quit claim for 25/32 of an acre of undecided land in section 15, Windsor Tw'p., Eaton Co. MI. He paid $50. Copies are held by Benjamin Kinsey. In 1883, Ephraim sells land to S. Wirt Wakeman et al (Liber 84, Page 543)Source is Eaton Co. MI Deed Index, 1873-1888, LDS Film #0965712, Vols. 4&5. Copy of indenture shows that Ephraim received $5500.00 for 101.55 acres in section 15, Windsor Tw'p., Eaton Co., MI. Copies are held by Benjamin Kinsey. Betty Jo Firestone has a school book, "Cobbs Sequel 1832", that was used by Harriet and Ephraim Yeck. They both had written their names in it. When Ephraim is listed with his family in the 1850 OH census, he was born in PA. In the 1870 and 1880 MI census, he was born in Maryland. His father was from Prussia and his mother from Maryland in 1880.
