Sunfield Man Severely Injured in a Fight With a Bull.
Portland, Mich., Oct 8. - Alfred Mapes, a former Portland resident who now lives
near Sunfield, was attached by a bill and four of his ribs were broken, A rat
terrier dog saved his life by seizing the bull by the nose. While the bull was
thus engaged Mapes got away.
