Inter Ocean April 12, 1888
Lansing, Mich., April 11-Special Telegram-The Michigan Republican Editorial
League was organized here today. T.S. Elliott of the Adrian Times, President;
Frank Godfrey, State Republican, Secretary; C.E. Baxter, Charlotte Republican,
Treasurer. It's name is somewhat reticent, but the name indicates the purpose of
the organization.
