Ernest M. Vogt Passes Away At His Home
Services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Neller Funeral Hone for Ernest 
M. Vogt, 85 who died at his farm of Gibbs Rd. Tuesday. He had been a resident 
there for over 50 years.
Surviving are his two daughters, Mrs. Ernestine Balderson of Portland and Mrs. 
Esther Meade of Charlotte; a son, Frederick C. Vogt of Charlotte and a foster 
daughter, Lettie Dutcher of Portland.
There were six grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and two brothers, 
Elmer and Harrison of Grand Ledge.
The Rev. James Eddleston will officiate at the funeral, and burial will be at 
the Portland cemetery with graveside services by the Portland Lodge No. 31. F & 
AM of which the deceased had been a member for over 50 years.  

Additional Comments:
Rev. Eddleston was the pastor of the Portland Congregational Church.
