Irene Barnard.
Mrs. Irene Barnard, age 71, of Route #4, 145 W. Spicerville Hwy., Charlotte, 
passed away at the Eaton County Medical Facility on Friday, July 30, 1976.
Her husband Harry preceded her in death in 1967.
Survived by five sons; Harry of Florida, Darwin and Marshall both of Lansing, 
Alden of Middleville and Dean of California; four daughters, Mrs. Harold 
(Marie) Saunders of Charlotte, Mrs. David Esterline of Hillsdale, Mrs. Denzel 
(Barbara) Mann of Charlotte and Dorene Barnard of Charlotte; one brother, Carl 
Blair of Lansing, 26 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Monday, August 2, 1976, at 1:30 p.m. from Pray Funeral 
Home, Charlotte.  Interment in Fowlerville Cemetery.

Additional Comments:
Irene' maiden name is Blair.  Mr. & Mrs. Jay Horton raised her from a small 
child.  Irene's mother abandoned the family & her father couldn't care for her 
& the siblings.  I believe the father placed them in an orphanage (family 
info).
