Bacon, 76, of rural Mulliken, died Thurs. June 16, 1977, at St. Lawrence Hospital in Lansing. Mrs. Bacon was born May 10, 1901 near Lakeview, a daughter of John & Fern (Bliss) Jones. On October 30, 1918 she married Lloyd Bacon in Mulliken. They lived their entire married life on their farm on St. Joe Hwy. Mrs. Bacon was voted Eaton County Homemaker of the year in 1976, a member of the Mulliken United Methodist Church, Life member & Past Matron of the Mulliken OES No.161. Past Grand of the Mulliken Rebekah Lodge No.346, the Hoytville Benevolent Society, and was a Grey Lady at Hayes-Green-Beach Hospital in Charlotte for 22 years. Services were held at 1 pm Monday at the Barker-Leik Funeral Home in Mulliken with Rev. John Sorensen & Rev. Lynn Wagner officiating. Burial in Meadowbrook Cemetery. Memorial was established with the Mulliken United Medthodist Church in Mulliken, and the American Cancer Society in her memory..
