Don R. Baker, 66, of Charlotte died Oct. 27, 1997
Mr. Baker was born April 17, 1931 in Vermontville, the son of Willis & Dona Baker. He 
worked in the paint department at B.O.C. in Lansing until his retirement in 1991. He also 
owned and operated Speedway Market from 1973 to 1989. Mr. Baker was a union 
committee man; member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Michigan Snowmobile 
Association, Eaton Special Riders Volunteer Association, and the American Quarterhorse 
Association. 
Services were Oct. 30 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Charlotte, with Father Thomas 
Nenneau officiating. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Vermontville..
