EDWARD BERA, 85, DIES IN CALIFORNIA JULY 2

Edward D. Bera, 85, died July 2 at the home of his daughter, Marie 
Schmidt, at El Monte, California.

He was born at Johnstown, Barry County, Michigan, July 24, 1867, and spent 
most of his life in and around Sunfield. He was associated with his 
brother, Warner Bera, in the operation of a general store in Sunfield for 
many years.

For the past nine years he has made his home with his children in 
California.

The funeral was held at San Bernardino, California with burial in the San 
Bernardino Cemetery.
