MRS JONATHAN J. CURTIS

Mrs. Jonathan J. Curtis, one of the best known and most highly respected 
women of this city, passed away at her home on Pearl Street, Charlotte, 
Wednesday morning, October 29, 1913, after a long and painful illness, at 
the age of 78 years.

She leaves only one son, Henry H. Curtis, present postmaster and publisher 
of The Echo at Vermontville, who has during her declining years and recent 
months of severe illness kindly given all the attention and care possible in 
ministering to her wants, both with his personal presence and financial 
means. - Charlotte Leader
