CHARLOTTE REPUBLICAN, Charlotte, Eaton, MI, 23 Jan 1913:

Mrs. Margaret Doyle, mother of A. J. Doyle, died Tuesday at his home on 
Lawrence Avenue, after a brief illness.  Mr. Doyle's parents have made their 
home with him for upwards of ten years & since their residence in this city, 
the mother has made many warm personal friendships.  Margaret Crystal Doyle 
was born in Sligo, Ireland, in August 1836, and was united in marriage to John 
Doyle at Toronto, Canada, in 1858.  Nine children were born of this union, six 
sons and two daughters, eight of whom are living.  
The funeral will be held in St. Mary's church Friday 
morning at 9 o'clock, Father Marx, of Albion, officiating; internment at Maple 
Hill cemetery.  The following relatives from out of the city are here to 
attend the funeral:  Mr. & Mrs. J. B. Doyle, of Kalkaska; Mr. & Mrs. E. H. 
Doyle , of Battle Creek; J. A. Doyle, of Traverse City; Mrs. E. M. Cutler & 
Mrs. J. B. Pruyne, of Copemish, & Earl Doyle of Olivet.
