Donald L. Root

   Donald L. Root, 67, of Charlotte died Aug. 27, 1995, at his residence.
   Mr. Root was born in Eaton County, the son of William and Iva (Boyer) 
Root.  He served with the United States Air Force during World War II and 
the Korean War, retiring in 1966, after 22 years of service.  He was a 
court officer for the Eaton County Friend of the Court, retiring after 15 
years of service.

   Visitation is Tuesday, Aug. 29, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Pray 
Funeral Home, Charlotte.
   Services are Wednesday, Aug. 30, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.  
Interment is in the Gresham Cemetery.
